Enhancing attention to gender in revised NDCs

The Government of Eswatini, through the NDC Partnership, requested support to enhance attention to gender considerations in their process to revise the NDC and within the landscape of associated policies. EnGen Collaborative partnered with World Resources Institute to conduct a Gender Assessment of Eswatini’s Climate Policy and Planning Instruments, between July and December of 2020, to identify the strengths and challenges of the existing policy framework and enabling environment, putting forward a set of evidence-based recommendations to expand action and outcomes.
