Int. Women’s Day 2022 Events Digest

International Women’s Day (IWD) is happening this week, on Tuesday March 8! Are you looking for ways to engage and celebrate? We’ve rounded up a few interesting events taking place this week that explore women’s roles and gender equality across a variety of environmental and climate change-related sectors!

2022 IWD theme: Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.

Additionally, the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW66) is coming up–taking place March 14-22. Check below for a sneak-peek of relevant events taking place during CSW which is focused on climate justice this year. We’ll share soon more opportunities to engage and learn throughout CSW.

Head here to view the IWD Events Digest page. All times listed in Eastern Time (US & Canada) (UTC-5:00) and London Time GMT (UTC+0) (Time zone converter found here).
